Position Summary
Ensure that all linen is processed and delivered to the respective hotels in a timely manner.
Key Areas of Responsibility and Duties
- Delivering clean linen and picking up soil linens from each property
- Truck loading and unloading
- Sort all linen by brand, wash and dry according to present machine formulas (ECOLAB)
- Move linen to the proper processing area after it is cleaned
- Keep work area and vehicle sparkle
- Perform other duties as assigned by Laundry Supervisor or General Manager
Qualifications
- Previous driving delivery experience
- Good driving records
Education:
- General Education and/or comparable work experience
Required Knowledge:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and write in English
- Good attention to detail
Work Environment:Â The duties for this position are carried out both indoors (60%) and outdoors (40%) and may be subject to adverse weather conditions and extreme changes in temperature. Employee will be exposed to contact with chemical mixtures when exchanging chemical containers while processing linen.
Physical Activities:Â To perform essential functions of this position, the individual must be available to see, speak: and hear and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and I writing. An individual must be able to stand walk for long periods of time with constant bending, stooping and reaching required.
