We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Patient Financial Coordinator to join a specialized health clinic in Athens. In this role, you aren’t just processing paperwork—you are the bridge that connects patients to life-saving medical care and medication.

Enjoy a standard 40-hour workweek with a twist that lets you start your weekend early:
- Mon/Wed/Thu: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Clinic late night)
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Work through lunch and head home early!)
What You Will Do:
- Guide patients through healthcare plan applications during Open Enrollment (ACA/Marketplace).
- Certify program eligibility by reviewing financial and residency documentation.
- Coordinate insurance enrollment, premium payments, and benefit changes with carriers and pharmacies.
- Maintain accurate records in specialized state and federal tracking systems.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years in healthcare administration, insurance verification, or social services.
- Skills: Strong Excel skills and the ability to calculate financial eligibility based on federal guidelines.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Georgia Medicaid (GAMMIS) or healthcare marketplace navigation is highly preferred.
- Qualities: A professional, non-judgmental approach to serving diverse patient populations with complex health needs.
