Trumps Catering is an Athens, Georgia institution, serving the community and surrounding counties since 1986. Our name was derived from a phrase in card games, To “trump something” means to surpass, outdo, or beat it by being better, more important, or more effective.

Trumps catering is known for excellent menus, beautiful presentation, and spot-on customer service. Specializing in wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, corporate events, and University of Georgia events. Trumps Catering offers everything from buffet barbecues to five-course dinners.

About the Job:

Banquet servers help bring each event together and ensure everything runs smoothly. There is a wide variety of responsibilities, such as replenishing buffets, serving guests drinks, bussing tables, and handling back-of-house tasks that keep events on track.

We travel to a wide variety of venues throughout the Athens area, so each shift can look a little different. This position offers a flexible schedule based on our event calendar.

Requirements:

Candidates should be able to remain on their feet for extended periods in a fast-paced, event-driven environment and comfortably lift and carry event equipment as needed. A polished, professional appearance that follows uniform requirements (black dress pants, a plain black t-shirt, solid black shoes, and black socks). Weekend availability is strongly preferred. Applicants should be able to work seamlessly within a team and demonstrate strong customer service skills, with a warm, professional demeanor.
