The Marigold Collective is a nonprofit based in Winterville, Georgia, advancing food access, community resilience, and economic justice across East Athens. We began in 2020 by launching the Marigold Farmers Market to address rising food insecurity in Athens-Clarke County. What started as a local response has grown into a broader movement, fueling a range of food access, nutrition, and education programs driven by and for the community.
