Position Summary:

Mammography Technologist, PRN with St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA

What you will do:

·        Perform ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists.

·        Maintains technical competency through continued education.

·        Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.  

·        Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.  

·        Enters patient’s questionnaire, release form, and all other paperwork into system.

What you will need:

·        Licensure/Certification/Registration:  Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).  Advanced registry in mammography required.  Continuing education credits in Mammography required.

·        Education: Graduate of formal radiographic technology training in an AMA-approved school

·       Experience: Two years mammography experience preferred.
