About Us: Ghavi’s is an upscale fine-dining restaurant renowned for exceptional cuisine, craft cocktails, and memorable guest experiences. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team.
Job Summary: The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes according to established recipes while upholding Ghavi’s standards of consistency and excellence. This role requires proficiency in a range of cooking techniques, a solid understanding of kitchen operations, and the ability to perform efficiently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and fully stock stations with all necessary supplies; prepare ingredients in accordance with established recipes and standards
Execute dishes using a full range of cooking methods, maintaining consistent quality, flavor integrity, and presentation standards on every plate
Maintain an impeccably clean and organized workstation throughout each shift
Assist with the thorough cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas in accordance with health and safety standards
Own and master an assigned station (grill, sauté, broiler, or fry), executing each dish with precision and consistency
Strictly adhere to all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen; background in fine dining or specialty culinary roles preferred
Strong knife skills, command of diverse cooking techniques, and a solid understanding of flavor profiles and ingredient preparation
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform effectively in a high-heat, fast-paced kitchen environment
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
